This workshop is aimed at students, dancers, costume designers and designers with the aim that they know first-hand the characteristics of professional dance costumes, the highest quality standards in their elaboration, the requirements for their maximum performance, as well as for them to discover the possibilities of professional and work development that exist in the specialized environment of the performing arts at an international level, in which the best dance and theater companies in the world develop costumes of the highest quality, both technical and aesthetic and creative.

 

This workshop is taught by two professionals specialized in: tutus and wardrobe for women, and jackets and wardrobe for men.

Among other topics, they will address: the stages of the creative process in costume design; the sense of inspiration for costume design; the technical process in making a ballet tutu; the technical process in the elaboration of dance clothes for high performance for men and women; how to adapt the costumes to the content of a work and the time to recreate or the specific physical environment in which the story takes place.
