Jared Grimes is a young and vibrant Tap and Street Jazz dancer who is making his mark in the arts world for his unique style as an actor, singer and dancer. On numerous occasions he has shared the stage with legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Hines, Mariah Carey and performed on special occasions for Barack Obama at the Kennedy Center when he was President of the United States.

In 2014 he was awarded the Astaire Award for Best Male Dancer in a Broadway Show.

He was on the international tour with music legend Mariah Carey and has appeared in various Broadway plays such as "After Midnight on Broadway," "Twist," "Babes in Arms," "Gentlemen Preder Blondes," and "Underground Broadway." directed by himself.

Grimes has appeared in commercials for Coca-Cola, Subway, and MTV, on television shows such as CBS's “Star Search,” “Showtime at the Apollo,” ABC's “Dance Fever,” and “The Jerry Lewis Telethon.” television series such as FOX's “Fringe” and HBO's “Broadwalk Empire”.

As a choreographer, Grimes assisted in the creation of "Banana Shpeel" for Cirque Du Soleil, created the choreography for the Broadway show "After Midnight on Broadway," collaborated in the creation of "Holler If You Hear Me," the musical by Tupac and recently created the choreography for the feature film "Breaking Brooklyn" from director Paul Becker.

His film appearances include Paramount Pictures '"The Marc Pease Experience" opposite Ben Stiller, New Line Cinema's "Little Manhattan" and Elevation Filmworks' "First Born" opposite Elizabeth Shue.
