This year the renowned Mexican dancer Isaac Hernández brings to Mexico the cultural project DESPERTARES IMPULSA® - Creative Industries in Mexico®, through which the English National Ballet School (ENBS) offers for the first time the opportunity to audition in Mexico to enter its 3-year Academic Program and the 2019 Summer Course for young people who meet the high quality standards that distinguish the ENBS.

The invitation is for young people of any nationality and, on this occasion, the ENBS will not charge the audition fee.
.
In addition to the possibility of being selected to study at its prestigious campus, the ENBS will offer the opportunity to participate in scholarships to pay for the courses.
The amount of the scholarship and who receives it depends on the skills that ENBS managers find in those selected for the Face-to-Face Audition.

It will be the first time that ENBS offers talented dancers the opportunity to audition in Mexico to enter one of the most prestigious training schools in the world of ballet; no need to travel to London.

One of Isaac Hernández's dreams is to bring the most talented dancers in their formative stage closer to the possibility of being able to complement their professional training in an institution such as the English National Ballet School.

REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC COURSE
● Age requirement: be between 16 and 18 years old in September 2019.
● Language: Advanced English.
Verifiable IELTS level: B1 or B2 * as a requirement for a UK visa.
* You have up to 1 year to verify it.

● The exact start and end dates of the academic year will be notified to young people who are admitted (usually begins in September and ends in July of the following year).
REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE SUMMER COURSE 2019
● Age requirement: be between 11 and 20 years old in July 2019.
● Have at least 4 years of ballet training.
● Women studying at tips: have at least 2 years of experience. Women who have less than 2 years of pointe study will be asked to dance in half pointe
● The ENBS summer course 2019 will last 4 weeks between July and August 2019.

PROCESS FOR THE HEARING IN MEXICO
All applicants must complete the online registration and submit the registration form for the course of their interest (academic or summer course), along with the photos and video requested in the registration forms, following the steps described below.
** REGISTRATION AND RECEPTION OF FILES CLOSES AT 11:59 PM ON JULY 31, 2018.
STEP 1 - Documentation and registration.
(A) Complete online registration for ENBS Auditions in Mexico.

Download the ENBS registration form for the course of interest.

(B) Academic Year 2019 - 2020

(C) Summer Course 2019

* If you want to apply for both courses and the requirements are met: download only the format for the Academic course.
(D) Download and READ the ENBS privacy policies.

STEP 2 - Sending documentation.
- Digital photography from the front:
- Recent, clear face
- White background
- Size: passport 3.5cm x 4.5cm at 300dpi
- Format: .jpg
- Identified as: Photo_SurnameName.jpg
- Photographs of all the positions requested in the ENBS registration form downloaded.
- Format: .jpg
- Size: 4 ”x6” (10x15cm) at 300dpi
- Identified as: Position1_SurnameName.jpg, Position2_SurnameName.jpg…

- Video including the entire list of exercises requested in the ENBS registration form downloaded.
- Format: .mp4 (it is the one generated by the majority of current cell phones)
- Identified as: Video_SurnameName

- Downloaded ENBS registration form.
- Filled by computer or by hand with legible script.
- Format: A single file in .pdf
- Identified as: Academic Course_SurnameName.pdf or SummerCourse_SurnameName.pdf

Once ALL the documentation has been gathered:

- Add photos, video and the ANSWERED registration format.

Step 3 - Face-to-face hearing
The staff of the English National Ballet School together with its director of Dance Carlos Valcárcel, will review the documents and video received to select the young people who will go to the On-site Audition, which will take place on August 21, 2018 in the City of Mexico.
In case of having been selected or not for the Face-to-Face Hearing, you will receive a notification 10 days after having received all your documentation.
* For no reason should you contact the English National Ballet School directly to know the results.
NOTES FOR FILLING OUT THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC COURSE

- All the photographs requested in the registration form will be sent in digital format as indicated in STEP 2 described above.
.
- The “Pre-Professional Program” mentioned in point 1 of the format, is the option to enter only the 3rd year of the academic year, IELTS level B2 is required, no diploma with academic validity is obtained.
.
- A UK resident guardian will be essential if a minor under 18 is admitted to the ENBS. If you do not have someone before sending the registration form, you can leave point 7. Guardian Details blank until you know if the applicant will be admitted to the ENBS.

- Once the applicant is admitted to the ENBS, they can start the process to take the exam to check IELTS level B1 or B2 mentioned in point 8. Languages.
.
- Point 11. Academic History is left blank until passing the Face-to-Face Audition.
.
- It is ESSENTIAL to fill out point 13. Financial Circumstances to process the request.

-It is not necessary to include the copy of the passport mentioned in the checklist on page 11 of the registration form.
NOTES FOR FILLING IN THE REGISTRATION FORMAT FOR SUMMER COURSE 2019

- All the photographs requested in the registration form will be sent in digital format as indicated in STEP 2 described above.

- The 2019 summer course will have a duration of 4 weeks, the ENBS will NOT offer the 2-week option that is mentioned in the format.
.
- In the format item 1. Audition is already filled out with the data for the ENBS Audition in Mexico, it is not necessary to complete it.

- A UK resident guardian will be essential if a minor under 18 is admitted to the ENBS. If you do not have someone before sending the registration form, you can leave point 7. Guardian Details blank until you know if the applicant will be admitted to the ENBS.
